CIVIC CUP
Civic Cup has been at the forefront of Area Motorsport for the past 7 years. The Civic Cup championship its self has moved in those last 7 years from a relatively new Championship to one of the most highly regarded single make series in the UK. The competition has become closer and closer year on year with fantastic close racing every year with 25+ Cars on the Grid at every round.
Area Motorsport offer a variety of services within Civic Cup to enable you as a driver the best possible opportunity of a fun filled competitive weekend of racing.
All our cars are built to the same standard as our Championship winning cars and when seen in person the attention to detail and meticulous preparation is clear to see. Proven time and time again by drivers throughout Civic Cup who run with us. In 2018 alone Area Motorsport Drivers and prepared cars took 3 x 1,2,3 Finishes, had at least 2 drivers in the Top 3 at every single round and held every lap record from 2018 aside from one round which was in mixed conditions. Not to mention taking the top two steps in this highly competitive 2018 Championship, with Rob Baker finishing first and Mark Grice finishing 2nd. Following years have saw us become champions for the last 3 years 2020,2021 and 2022
Before mentioning our Civic Cup options it’s always worth pointing out that these cars are extremely versatile, over the past two years our cup cars have won various races outside of Civic Cup such as 750 MC Roadsports and most recently the 2018 Birkett Relay where our Team of Civic Cup Cars won Class A and finished 6th overall on a 68 car grid beating many teams of M3’s and high end machinery.
Civic Cup Car Hire
Many customers use our car hire services to get them on the grid. The service is very simple in that we supply you with a car, our team and everything else required for you to have a fantastic weekend or season of Racing. Our Hire cars are built to an identical standard to our championship winning car of 2018 which was actually originally built as a hire car and in 2022 the Championship was again won by a customer in one of our hire cars. No corners are cut ensuring customers who choose this option have a reliable and competitive car to see them through their racing weekend. All you need to do is turn up with your Race Kit and leave the rest to us!
